We have been training people for diverse Christian ministries for over two hundred years, and the College's approach blends a training programme for today with a rich heritage of spirituality and pastoral leadership going back to 1807.
South Wales Baptist College offers a distinctive approach to ministerial formation. The friendly and informal atmosphere of the College provides the primary context for the community of staff and students, with academic lectures delivered in the excellently resourced and diverse setting of the Cardiff University School of Religious and Theological Studies. Together, these two settings of College and University comprise a first class, creative, challenging and exciting environment in which to train for twenty-first century ministry. Students can pursue courses which are either full-time College-based or part-time congregation-based, with a full range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees available (BA, BTh, MA, MTh, MPhil, PhD). Applications are welcomed from women and men from both the Baptist Union of Great Britain and the Baptist Union of Wales.
