Response to Coronavirus
Friday 27 March, 2020
In response to guidance about the developing Coronavirus (Covid-19) situation, South Wales Baptist College have suspended face-to-face teaching for the rest of the academic year and the College building is now closed to visitors. This is a difficult and disappointing decision to have to take. However, we plan to keep things going as far as possible, primarily through digital means. We will be increasing our regular contact with students and continuing the programme of worship, prayer, teaching and assessment, with modification. Interviews will be held virtually, and we will endeavour to keep our supporters informed of any opportunities to engage with the College (e.g. the Valedictory Service will continue, in some form, on Saturday 4th July). The College’s text for the year challenges us to love God, love our neighbours and love ourselves. May we know God’s wisdom in balancing these priorities. We welcome your prayers for students, staff and trustees, as we pray for you, in this challenging time. Email is now the preferred means of contacting the College. email@example.com is the first port-of-call.
